Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 July 2026

These terms cover this website only. They are not the software licence.

Use of the software is governed by the applicable licence file or a separate written agreement. Website summaries are informational and do not replace the governing licence.

1. What these terms apply to

This is a static informational website. These terms govern your use of the website itself. Three separate things are worth keeping apart:

  • This website — covered by these terms.
  • The Avorelo software — governed by the licence that ships with it, not by this page.
  • The Apache License 2.0 — the software license that grants your rights to use, modify, and redistribute the software.

2. The hosted service has been discontinued

The previous hosted Avorelo service is gone. There is no account, no subscription, no checkout, no customer portal, no hosted API, and no cloud data processing. Nothing renews and nothing is billed. There is consequently no refund process, because nothing is being charged.

There is no service-level agreement and no support commitment attached to this website or to the current software.

3. The software license, not this website, grants your rights

Your rights to use the Avorelo software come from the Apache License 2.0 that ships with it, not from this website. This website is informational and cannot expand or reduce those rights. See the license page and the LICENSE file in the repository.

4. License status of the software

Avorelo is Open Source under the Apache License 2.0. Personal, internal, organizational, and commercial use are permitted, including modification and redistribution, subject to the Apache-2.0 terms (preserve copyright, license, and NOTICE; state significant changes; the license includes patent terms and disclaims warranty).

5. No separate license is required

No fee and no separate license are required to use Avorelo. Apache-2.0 does not grant broad trademark rights, and Avorelo is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Apache Software Foundation. Optional paid services (support, implementation, integrations, training, SLA) may be agreed separately and are never required to exercise your Apache-2.0 rights.

6. Contributions

Contributions are welcome under the Apache License 2.0 with a Developer Certificate of Origin (DCO) sign-off; no CLA is required for ordinary contributions. See CONTRIBUTING.md in the repository.

7. Acceptable use of this website

Do not attempt to disrupt the website, misrepresent your affiliation with Avorelo, or use its content in a way that implies an endorsement or a licence that does not exist. Site content and branding remain the property of their owner.

8. AI and workflow disclaimer

Avorelo assists with AI coding workflows. It does not guarantee the correctness of AI-generated output. You remain responsible for reviewing, testing and approving any change made in your own projects.

9. Third-party requests

This website loads web fonts from third-party providers. The Privacy Policy lists exactly which hosts are contacted and on which pages. Those providers' own terms apply to those requests.

10. Disclaimers and liability

This website is provided as-is, for information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no warranty is given as to its accuracy or availability, and no liability is accepted for reliance on it. Any warranty or liability position relating to the software itself will be stated in the licence or written agreement that governs it, not here.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated when the site's status changes. The software license is the Apache License 2.0.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Contact

There is no contact form on this site; nothing you type into any page is submitted. Enquiries are by email to support@avorelo.com. Website contact summaries are informational. Email correspondence with that address does not change your Apache-2.0 rights, and the support address does not create a service-level agreement or a binding offer. See the Contact page for support, services, and security.
